MEET THE head coach
George Zedan has been coaching and mentoring kids for 23 years. After spending a majority of his career coaching traditional U.S. kids, Zedan founded Veritas in 2018 to help narrow the gap in the game of basketball for Latin American kids. Since 2018, Veritas has had five 20+ wins seasons, five appearances in the Grind Session World Championships, three appearances in the Grind Session Elite Eight, and 26 student athletes have moved on to play in college across all levels (D1, D2, D3, NAIA, JUCO). In year six, Veritas Academy was one of fourteen schools selected to participate in the prestigeous Nike EYBL Scholastic league, which is considered the best high school basketball league in the United States.
